Kaitlynns Update.... ears and Uvula

OK well i finally fould out why kaitlynn has so many ear infections and speech problems...... Not only is speech problem from ears but also from her uvula.... my daughter just had her 4th ear tube surgery... Bc the tubes keep falling out bc of all the fluid in her ears..... Well i finally switched Ent after the 3rd surgery so her new ent did this surgery that she had done a week ago... which he put in a t - tube which is suppose to stay in her 3 years and be removed.... I just pray that this tubes stay in for my 3 year old.. She scrared of every dr.. hospital beds ... Dr. chair at the ent......... bc she has had so much blood work taken.. which today she had more taken.. Bc she had to get a shot to boost her immune system bc it was so low..... so they had to do more blood work today to check to see if her immune system went up... PLEASE BE UP !!!!!!! My little girl as had a rough time.. But Thank you its just this.. it could be worse....... although they said her Uvula which is the thing that hangs in ur throat as a split which is called VPI....... I researched this today and this is what i fould It's the same thing her Ent told me today so it made me happy that it all matched up!!

A split uvula (also called a bifid or cleft uvula) occurs in about 2% of newborns. It occurs in approximately 1% of Caucasians and 10% of Native Americans. Although a bifid uvula is infrequent, it is one of the most common malformations in the newborn mouth caused by incomplete fusion of the two sides of the palate while the baby is developing.
A uvula is composed of connective tissue, a few secretory glands and some muscle fibers. It does play a role in articulation by working in conjunction with the back of the throat, the palate and air from the lungs to produce a tone of speech. Other non-English languages use the uvula for consonant sounds.
There are problems associated with an abnormal uvula. Velopharyngeal insufficiency (VPI) is when the uvula doesn't properly form a seal with the back of the throat. VPI can cause a hypernasal speech pattern when too much air comes in from the nose while talking or food to exit through the nose while eating . A bifid uvula might be a clue to a lack of muscle tissue in the soft palate (known as a submucosal cleft palate) which may make one prone to ear infections. An oddly shaped uvula may also cause snoring

Therefore This is the Problem... SHe will have to stay with ear infection until her uvula will heal up... OR until they do surgery on it.. which he said that would be later on down the line if it doesnt get better But they dont do that on her this young bc its not that bad.......but anyways this is what i have been doing through.. she had her 4th surgery tue the 6th and that 8th of jan she had a ear infection which today they siad its still infected that it takes her longer to clear from a ear infection than normal kids bc shes had sooo many.. poor baby... Anyways Now its time to finish watching a movie with hubby ! talk to u laer.. Pray for my little girl !

Yeah my baby is 5 moths old as of Nov 8th. Wow time flies by.... Shes getting so chucky she weights 16 lbs 14 oz Gosh. I looked it up and at 5 mths Kk weighed 16 lbs 4 oz.... I guess i just got rolly pollys lol...well ashlynn can almost sit up alone.. cant wait until she can.... She finally can push her self backwards in her walker and man does she get mad when she gets stuck.. hahah.....Here's a few pictures i took of her last night.... Thank yall so much we would never be able to pay yall back. you have got us this far and i am still standing up high with all our problems.... Ok well what else can i go though right now .... Hubby's out of work right now going tue to find out about surgery..... hope soon.... Than now kaitlynn has tonsillists right now And still having problems with fluid in her ears .... She lost one of her tubes ... and has to go under surgery for the 3rd time ..... SHES ONLY 3 years old NOW WHAT ELSE CAN SHE GO THROUGh...... Shes on another round of infection med... ugh ... she will be getting a differenet type of tubes this time and will be getting her tonsiles removed and recheck about the abnoides to make sure that theres no growth on her abnoides ....... So this go around its gonna be fun.. I just home hers and hubbys arent that close together .... on top of all this I am sick with a ear infection and cold... and Ashlynn has a cold.... ughhh will it ever end .. WEll thats a update on the family... I will post when we get the dates for surgerys

Wow its been so long since i wrote ..... ahhhhh let see... Well to let everyone know what i am going though .... Well The day before the strom Frank got into a 4 wheeler accident... he was going fast on his 4 wheeler in the woods and didnt see a stomp and hit it and flipped him into a Big deach with mud and water in it... he put is leg out to stop him but wrong thing to do.... I got a phone call .. this is how the lord works... His cell let him call me twice to tell me he was hurt bad and needed his Step Father to turn around to come and get him..... than he called back and was screaming hurry i cant get up im hurt..... I was so scared..... and after that his phone was FRIED ..... wouldnt work anymore .. well we took him to the hospital and all that good stuff..... he went back to a apt and had a mri and today fould out what the mri said .. his MCL and ACL is tore... he has to wait 6 weeks for his MCL to heal until he can have surgery on is ACL ... YICKs about 12 weeks off of work... not good..... he still does get 80% of his check....... ok now about Kaitlynn her tube in her ear is out again and lots of fluid and hear very dull still....... she is on stroids and ear drops if isnt any better she will under go her 3rd surgery on her ears ... IM sick of this they cant do speech on her until her ears are better !!!! WHAT ELSE HUH ...... other than than Kaitlynn will be 3 sunday whooo hooooo gosh time flies... ashlynn is 3 months old.... Me and Ash are doing great !!!! Well shes crying gotta get her sorry !

My poor baby got 5 shots yes 5 poor thing...... and she got the oral polo drops !! she screamed and screamed getting them done... she bleed so bad the nurse was worried about her being a free bleeder./.. she bleed bad in the hospital too.. so something im gonna have to talk to the dr about.. my mil had blood all over her shirt thats how bad it was i thought i was gonna pass out ..lol...... anyways... the dr couldnt believe how much she grew!! She 11 lbs 4oz now WOW !! and shes 23 1/2 inches long ... shes getting tall !! What a week I am having......Well Tuesday I had to call and bring Ashlynn to the dr for her reflux she wont stop throwing up ..... and that was on 8 teaspoons of cereal in her bottles ....Well she the dr finally gave me ZanTac for her twice a day and told me to add 4 tablespoon of cereal now .. well yeswterday she throw that up twice ... she shouldnt be its so thick.... well the one last night she choked on the milk and stopped breathing .. YES STOPPED BREATHING ....... HER FACE WAS BLUE and i was going CRAZY..... we got her nose sucker and sucked it out her nose than her throat..... she breathed and than chocked again this happen 4 times wit h her turning blue ....... YES I WAS GOING CRAZY So I only gave her Pedialite the rest of the night .. NEVER THROW THAT UP HUMMMM werid huh my thought must be allergic to milk...So i said thats it im calling the dr in the morning .. which was today.. called and they said she would call me back..... well ashlynn had her ultrasound and dr apt for her hip at childrens hospital .. so I DROVE TO NEW ORLEANS on the causeway I DROVE FIRST TIME EVER DRIVING OUT THERE> iwas so scared i was feeling sick driving on it ...... any ways ... so everything went good there ... came out and it was storming ok ..... yeah storming ugh.... got the kids loaded and left and the road were flooded Kaitlynn was screaming bc she was scared bc of the water i was going in lol.... so i had her screaming and than got on the causeway to go back home.. and it was storming there too ughhhh scarey.... so i called the dr back and they said she would call me right back ugh.. so she did .... we talked and shes like maybe its a virus ... well no bc shes been throwing up since she was in the hospital.......i told her maybe shes allergic to milk.. she didnt think so... .. bc a side effect to allergic milk is throwing up and COLIC...... well guess what shes got colic shes been screaming all EVENING ... im going crazy ..... so she said she wants to change her FORMULA again 6th time just about ... and try the Enfarmil A.R. Lipil... which is for acid reflux and it has the cereal added all ready ... YEA .. and now all my bottles nippples are cutt and now i cant even USE them ughhhhhh .... soo off to buy new bottles .... im tired of all this .... so now shes on zantac and this new formula so far she hasnt thrown up today... WISH ME LUCK...... well so i get home and all day kk has been digging in her ear.. Oh did i say EAR .. UGH ... you think two surgerys would fix that problem ... NO I look in her ear and its all stopped up Guess what that means .... EAR INFECTION ... what else .. what else can i go through... DIDnt sleep the last two nights bc of COLIC..... I'm ready to CRY MY LITTLE EYES OUT .............. soooo thats what all went on today for me .... PRAY FOR ME >. SHES SCRAMING I BETTER GET HER ... NOTHINGS WORKING

Well I have alittle time to write......wow what a time i've been having..... kaitlynn has caught a cold with fever.... Great just what i needed with Ashlynn being home.... ...I am beyond worn out... I need more sleep ... Ashlynn woke up at 10 , 12, 2, 4 and than 7 to eat... I had just got kk to sleep at 10 and once i got her to sleep little bit wakes up... go figure huh.....They dont even taake naps at the same time....... hehe....But I am loving being with both of them...... I've lost 26 lbs whooo hooo........ Well I was writing this blog to Thank my mom and my two sisters...... It was so nice of them to come over and bring me supper.. Thanks Marianne and Carrie.... thank you mom for everything you have done....I couldnt of done it without you..... thanks for the supper last night.... THANKS FOR EVERYTHING SISSY"S AND MOMMY !!! I LOVE YALL !!!!! And Carrie Ashlynn wore her outfit you bought her yesterday.... It didnt look to bad with her braces on........ Wow whata time we've been having.......... Ashlynn is doing great she is off of everything now but iv for infection meds..... she will be coming home MONDAY !!!!!!! FINALLY !!!!! She does have hip problems .. her hip didnt pop in place so she will be wearing a harness for 6 weeks...... that will get her hip back in place... they will get us some home heatlh care to the house also and we will be bring her to Childrens hospital for check ups on her hips...... For me I am doing good now ..... i will be returning back to the dr about my gallbladder in about 2 weeks.... they will be doing surgery on me to remove it....fun.. one surgery to another surgery.......... Well fould out yesterday everything is gonna be ok with my grandmother ..Im soexcited..... my mom had good news allday yesterday....... She called me asking how i was and everything was good...I was put in thehospital thursday for all kinds of testing... I have been very weak and dizzy...... theystill dont know why.... I am feeling alot better which yeswterday i got to go to walmart...... which i still have a few dizzy spells but nothinglike it was wed and thurs.......alot better...... they took me off of one of my blood pressure pills... so i only take one now.... which i have been having thebad head achs again........ so hopefully everything will be ok with just taking one... we will see..........

well i finally got myself out of bed....... been in bed all day... Frank made me get up to go outside for a little while to see if that would make me feel better.......... I had to be rushed to the dr this am .... I am having false cocntrations bad every 5 min they hurt tooo nothing fun .... feels like real ones... i also been feeling weak , dizzy and like im ognna pass out today... everything was fine at the dr but he had to do some blood work...... always fun ...........i go back tomorrow for my stress test and to see the midwife.......today just been really bad for me ... im about to go take a bath and get right back in bed.....Frank and Kaitlynn went to our uncles house so I'm home alone right now .. so i figure i better go get in the tub while kk is gone.. lol ... anyways that was my day .... not good ...

Well this weekend I went to Ms to see my Grandmother....... I wasnt expecting to see her like she was.......she got moved to jackson now.. which is good bc shes closer to us..... Please keep praying for her..shes not doing well....... Yeah and i made it there and back being 36 weeks preggo....... my back was in alot of pain and i didnt sleep but an hour there but it was all worth see her ............ I went to the dr today...... I had the nst test ...all good.... ultrasound for fluid and she took some more 4d pictures omg .. look at her fat cheeks ....... so cute.... everything went well at the dr apt .. i only gained 1 lb since friday whoo hooo bc i ate alot of junk on the way to my grandmothers and back........... so all is good with me .. i go back thursday to the dr and nst test whooo hoooo....... heres a pic of Ashlynn

Well last night we got the news my grandmother aka NEE NEE.... is in the icu in mississippi...... I have been worried about her somuch ..... she has fluid in her lungs and heart rate is not good....We need everyone to pray that she will be ok ...... We are leaving in the morning to get up there to see her ....I got an ok from themidwife that i could travel being that i been having problems and i only have 4weeks left..... she told me i had to move around alot to avoid blood clots and to get out every hour....... will do.. i will do anything toget to see my grandmotherrightnow.. I dont care how much pain i'm gonna be in I WILL GET UP THERE TOSEE HEr .......... Please let her be ok ... please lord...... Everything went good for me today at the dr... the baby was moving around for the stress test which was good.. still having Braxon Hicks Contrations though ..... and the fluid level was good so everything is good for me togo...........i got all my paper work toothey wanted metotake just in case if somethingahppens there......anyways iwillbe gone thisweekend.. pleaseprayformy grandmotherand my family

Well My day didnt go to well...started out at the nst test .... i had to lay there for 45 min this time bc we couldnt get the baby to wake up.. she wouldnt move she was being badthismorning...... she did everything she could do and after 45 min she said were gonna have to send you for a ultrasound .......... oh yeah it detected 3 contrations while there ... but its the Braxon hicks contrations......... after that I went totheultrasound and finally she got her to mvoe and did the test there it all was good d......... than i went to see a midwwife one that I DONT LIKE ......and dhadto sit on the table undressed for 30 min before she came in yeah if your a women you knowwhat i mean not fun to sit there with you buddy sticking to the paper lol......... finally she came in and she was so rude to me i wanted to slap her..... she ruined my whole day.... VERYVERY RUDe .... ugh i dont even wanna go there.well now im about to relax inthe tub than watch Rambo with hubby.... and go to bed........

well today was great... I finally got to spend time with hubby until 2:30..... whoo hooooo we had a BBQ and went swimming today...........it was nice and relaxing.... than frank had to leave to go help on his sisters house and we finished eatting and went home andtook us a nap hehe....... When frank got back home about 630 we went swimming again ....... it wasnt nice for me that time.... i was hurting..... my whole body looks like someone aired me up with a air compresser lol.... no lie ... lol...... Im ready to have this lil girl .......

Also i finished the bathroom this weekend... kk was really excited she got to take a bath in her own tub the other night.. heres some pictures .... we still have to put the plugs in and i have to buy some more stuff for the walls to decorate it .......... wish you could of seen this bathroom when we bought this traylor......

WOW !! My mom and sisters surprised me today .... They did a baby shower for me .... It was so nice !!!! they did a wonderful job........ i had feeling something was going on .. but didnt know that they were gonna do all that ...... IT made me feel so good... Thank you mom, Marianne and Carrie !!!!! Thank yall so much ... I am ready for her now !!!! I got all kids of gifts from them.... Mom got me baby towel ,rode, gas drops, diapers , baby wipes. baby book, baby bottles and $50 to walmart and etc..... Carrie got me this PRETTY stroller and baby car seat.... Marianne got me 50 gift card to walmart... 2 outfits, nu nus , little one pieces and etc.... Thank yall all for those gifts very sweet of yall....... I got alot of stuff from them..... I got so excited when i left i went and spent the 100 hehe .... all on the baby too.... I got a diaper bag. Diapers,blankets, more bottles, formula, formula holder, 2 outfits and only went over $2.00 whooo hooooo i did so good....... I'm so excited now ..... i got the babys car seat ready to go in the car !!!! heheheeheh ... Thank yall so much ... very sweet and kind of yall.. i love yall so much ......... heres some pictures !!!!

Hey everyone.... My good friend just fould out that she lost her baby. She was 10 wks and 4 days preggo. She is really depressed right now and not to mention shes getting married sat ...... shes got alot on her right now.. she needs our prayers!!!!!

Also I havent posted in a while......went tue to the dr... blood pressure still up... stress test came out good..... Now today im 35 weeks and only 5 more to go.. I dont think its gonna wait 5 more weeks .........I think i have been having False Contractions.... having a few little cramps/ tighting... I had those with kk.......... Hopefull soon I will have this lil girl....Shes been beating me up hehe......I go back tues to the dr for another stress test and to see the dr again......Its so close !!!!! Please keep me in your prayers also with the high blood pressure.......I havent been feeling too great lately been feeling like im ognna pass out alot..... and i cant hardly breath..... If I just walk into the other room im like ahhhhhhhhhh .... lol..... poor kk i cant do alot like i use to with her.. Its so hard.............Anyways ..... Just keeping yall posted !!!

Well today I went to have a ultrasound done... i got the 3d ultrasound done and Omg i cried when i saw the baby smiling...She smiled at us it was so cute...SHE LOOKS LIKE Kk'S twIN ... just like her sissy....... anyways after i saw the dr.. and i ended up having to get more blood work done today bc my blood pressure was up today ......and i have to do the 24 hour urine test again too.. ugh thats not fun... i will be going back friday for the nst test.. non stress test and see the dr again... I will start going every week twice a week now and than see the dr after wards.... gosh thats gonna be a pain.. WHY Did i have to get high blood pressure withthis one..... oh well atleast the babys all well.........

Today Was a GREAT DAY ....Started out by going to lunch for moms..Crawfish Boil HUMMM it was sooooo good... I had a great time spending time with my family.. We had a great day....... When i left there Hubby called and He was done with his sisters roof WHOOOHOOOOOO FINALLY........so i went to get him and we got home about 3:00 I finally got to spend some times with him.........we spent the rest of the day outside enjoying the nice weather... kaitlynn wanted to go swimming so daddy got in the BABY POOL with her lol....(which the water comes up to kk's chest) enough water for us to relax an cool off....... finally daddy made mommy get in to with them... It was nice to just relax and lay back and talk.... I'm so glad i got some family time in today......But now hubbys got a turn around at work.. he wont get home until 7 pm every night :( Cant wwait until its allover with ) I MISS HIM !! Anyways today was a GREAT DAY .. I hope everyone else had a good time.. Happy Mothers day

Wow today was a nice day.... I spent all day with my mommy.... i havent done that in a long time..... We went shopping in Baton Rouge....... I bought the cutest little outfits for Ashlynn.. they were so cute.. I enjoyed my day with my mom and my daughter...... kaitlynn wasnt really that bad today since we had her shopping from 9:30 - 3:30....... wow that was a long day huh... she was out after the last store we went too......... well now its 8:00 and im tired and need to take a shower............

Yesterday just wore me out!! I'm still not over it lol.... My day started out by going toget grocerys at walmart always fun with a two year old..... haha I got home, unloaded the stuff and than my sister in law wanted me to go shopping and i rode with her....Ahhhhhh i decided i would go since i didnt have anything else to do......By the time we got to the 2nd store my daughter was bring horible......she keep hitting and fighting with her cousin whois 3.. She would throw fits in the stores and anytime i tried on a outfit it was a fit to put clothes back on.. SHE WANTED TO GO AROUND IN JUST PANTIES AHHHHH lol.........I did find the cutes little outfit for her to take some pictures in.... She wanted this cute hat so i fould a long white skirt and a shirt that matches her hat... ITS SOOOOCUTE ON HER .. SHE LOVes it !! Well we shopped from 8:00-9:30 at walmart...than we left at 10:00 and got home at 1:40.. yeah long day without kk napping.... Than at 4:30 I went with my sister-in-law to her new house there building ..Bc Franks been working on there house....He gets off of work and goes straight out there...I miss him so much...... well we didnt leave from over there until almost 8:00 yeah so to say I AM TIRED FROM YESTERDAY LOL.......Anyways that was my day yesterday !!!! IM JUST WORN OUT... And I had to clean moms house this morning and im home and looking at my house..... it needs to be picked up and sweep and mopped ..... hummmmmm I BEtTer geT TO iT BEFORE NAP Time !!!!!!! DID I SAY NAP TIME .... THATS IN 40 min YES !!!!!!!!!!!

Well today I just sanded the hallway sheetrock so hubby can put another coat on it and i typed up the holes in the kids bathroom..... I cant wait until im done with everything..I only have 7WEEKS AHHHHHH left now Tomorrow makes 33 weeks preggo ... OMG I cant believe this ... IM NOT READY AT HOME YET .... Wow .. where do i start... I woke up and went to clean moms house this morning. Than I came home and kaitlynn and I feed the new puppies and played with them. Than my little niece Brianne came over to play with Kaitlynn. While Kk was away from me playing i decided well i better put the babys stuff up in her room and finish it up. After i finished that I ended up painted the kids bathroom... wow whats up with me today...here i am doing all this and I'm 33 weeks this week...... Gosh this is the best week I've had my Whole Pregnancy...... I FEEL SO GOOD !!!! WHOOO HOOO AND IM NOT EVEN GONNA TAKE A NAP TODAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOOO HOOOOO IM FINALLY FEELING GOOD !

well i just got back from the nst test , ultrasound and dr apt... eveything went well....My blood pressure was GREAT WHOOO HOOO . I have to have the stress test every week right now....... I go back tue morning for a full ultrasound and stuff. She told me that everything will be ok withme going vbac and that if my blood pressure does raise that they just give meds to bring it down . Therefore i will not be sch. a c-sec i will try the vbac this time !!!!

Well around Christmas we bought us a new moblie home. Which is 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. We had to remodel everything andwhen i mean EVERYTHING I MEAN EVERYTHING ....We are still remodeling at this time.. I can't wait until we will be finish with everything. We still have the kids bathroom and the hall wayto finish. We also still have all the molding to still get and put up. But i wanted to share some pictures with the work we have done!! Well today I go for a HST test on the baby ( which is a stress test on the baby) they will hook me up to montiors for 30 min . After that test i get to have one more ultrasound whoo hoooo cant wait to see my little girl who seems to look like her big sissy. Than Last dr apt right after wards... Have alot of questions today....hummmmm i only have 8weeks left until my due date ahhhhhhh... Im ready for her but i dont think im ready for her at home yet !!!! i better be getting busy huh.....
